Joseph is a young Kenyan boy who fell and broke his leg a couple of years ago. As a result he developed Chronic Osteomyelitis. His leg had 4 holes from below the knee to his ankle. Temporary measures had been to clean and dress the wounds. Without surgery Joseph would have likely lost his leg.
Thanks to our generous sponsors Joseph was able to receive all necessary procedures. He is recovering nicely and is expected to have full use of his leg once again with no further complications.

Brian is a 15 year old Kenyan boy. He was in desperate need of eye surgery. Brian had no history of any medical challenges when suddenly he developed a swelling on his right eye. The condition of his eye rapidly deteriorated. In a nearby hospital he was treated for Malaria and yet his condition worsened over night. By morning both of his eyes were completely swollen and sight in one of his eyes was already affected. as a result Bria required immediate surgery to save his eye sight. The surgery would remove build up of fluid pressure allowing him to return to normal vision. The cost of this surgery was $3125.00
Thankfully Our Little Charity Canada was able to intervene and provide the necessary funds for surgery. Brian had unfortunately lost sight in his right eye, but is just so happy that his left eye was not affected. He is back in school and adjusting well.
Peter, a 10 year old Kenyan boy, was in need of a cornea replacement. His eye is highly photosensitive and remained closed when a lamp was lit. He strained to read and traveling was dangerous as he could not see properly when crossing a street. The Cornea Replacement would allow him to have vision in both eyes thus impacting his life greatly. He would be able to attend school, study and play like all the other children his age. Cost of this surgery is $2571.00. Our Little Charity Canada was able to fund the necessary surgery and are happy to report that Peter’s vision has completely been restored!
